MaxPreps® and Digital Scout® team to offer
total statistics solution for high school sports
COLUMBUS, OH (Sep. 1, 2004)

High school teams throughout the country can now streamline the collection,
analysis, and printing of game statistics; display team and player statistics
on a free high school sports Web site; utilize online management tools; and
export game statistics to the local media. A partnership between Digital Scout®
and MaxPreps® brings together the nation's leading sports statistics software
with the largest national high school sports database and online community. The
result is a new comprehensive statistics management and publication solution
for high school sports teams.
Sacramento-based MaxPreps® began offering free team Web sites with extensive
team and statistics management tools, player Web pages, and other services, to
coaches in California in 2002. Today over 80 percent of California high schools
are posting their game and player statistics in multiple sports online at
www.MaxPreps.com. The number of teams is expected to grow fourfold in the
2004-2005 school year as ten more states are added to the MaxPreps universe.
The nation's remaining states will be added in the 2005-2006 school year.
Digital Scout is a leading provider of sports statistics and scouting software.
With Team StatwareTM statistics are entered on a handheld computer at the game
for instant statistics and analysis. Newest versions also allow data entry on a
laptop or, after the game, on a PC from a traditional scorecard. Statware
